Brooklyn Crab

Brooklyn Crab

If you're in the mood for some seafood and a whole lot of fun, then Brooklyn Crab is the place to be! My daughter Amberlin , Sonia and I had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at this amazing restaurant located right on the water in Red Hook. And let me tell you, it was a very delicious experience.

We started our meal with some classic appetizers like mac & cheese, calamari, and spinach & crab cheese dip. Let me just say, that cheese dip was so good, you could literally take a bath in it! It was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor.  And the calamari was perfectly crispy and tender. We couldn't get enough!

Next up, we indulged in their famous lobster roll and crab roll. These were hands down the best rolls we have ever had. The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the rolls were perfectly toasted. We savored every bite, and I think we might have shed a tear when we finished them. The crab roll was our favorite this time!

To accompany our meal, we enjoyed a glass of red wine and a delicious cocktail that was so good, we completely forgot to ask for the name. But trust me, it was a winner! Amberlin, being the little princess she is, had her usual Shirley Temple but with extra cherries on the side. They definitely know how to please the kids too!

Now, let's talk about the atmosphere at Brooklyn Crab.
As soon as we walked in, we felt like we were transported to a fun seaside getaway. The décor is whimsical and filled with crabs and other sea creatures. There are bars on each floor, so you never have to wait too long for a drink.  And the seating is plentiful, both indoors and outdoors. One thing that pleasantly surprised us was the helpful and friendly staff. They were always smiling and ready to assist us with anything we needed. It added to the overall positive vibes of the place.

After we finished our brunch, we decided to take a little stroll and explore the area. To our delight, we stumbled upon the Statue of Liberty nearby. It was such a treat to see her up close and personal. We also stumbled upon one of the last oldest trolley cars, which was a cool piece of history. And to top it all off, there was an outdoor band playing some great tunes just around the bend. It truly was a memorable afternoon.

Overall, if you're a seafood lover and find yourself in Red Hook, Brooklyn, Brooklyn Crab is a must-visit. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is lively and fun, and the location right on the water is unbeatable. Plus, the staff is top-notch. It's the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal while soaking up the sun and enjoying the sea breeze.

Grab your friends and family and head on over to Brooklyn Crab for a seafood feast you won't soon forget!
